How can an email be changed on Remitian?

1. Under Dashboard, click Clients, click the box beside the select preferred client.

2. Click on the Edit link underneath the client's name and email address.

3. Edit the client's email. Once updated, click Save.

Please Note: For security reasons, a client’s bank account may have to be remove prior to updating of email.

Understand what each user role can do on the Remitian platform

Remitian supports both accounting firms and individual clients. Each role sees a customized experience:

Accountants can:

  • Manage multiple client profiles

  • Submit or edit bank details and authorizations

  • Schedule and cancel tax payments

  • View detailed payment histories

Clients can:

  • View payment status and history

  • Receive reminders and updates

  • Submit or edit bank details and authorizations (if enabled by their accountant)

  • Schedule, Approve and cancel tax payments
What type of Tax Accounts can be scheduled?
Multiple tax accounts can be connected to a person's account as long as they are registered to the correct person.
 
 

The type of Accounts available are dependent on what is currently allowed through each state's portal. But nearly all support:

  • Corporation
  • Sole Proprietorship
  • Personal

How long does it take for my client to receive an invite email?

Your client should receive the invite email instantaneously. 

If they have not received it, please ask them to check their spam folder. And it never hurts to double check each character in the email you listed.
